Our Philosophy
Nashville Holistic Pet is staffed by knowledgeable experts who are also animal owners and lovers. With a focus on holistic care, pet safety and relaxation, our products and immaculate, sophisticated salon set the standard for grooming. Our large, well-lit, air conditioned facility is clean and has a unique design: all grooming is done in the front area where everyone can watch and feel comfortable that their pet is getting professional, loving care. We use safe, no heat kennel dryers and all biodegradable shampoos and conditioners for the safety of your pet.

All of our groomers have at least 5 years of grooming experience and some have as much as 20 years of expertise. Each service includes a consultation with the actual groomer that cares for your pet. Your groomer will discuss options such as what shampoo will best fit your pet’s needs and what style of clip would best suit your pet.

We groom pets from start to finish enabling a grooming to be completed in a shorter period of time. This seems to make our most nervous customers more relaxed. We will usually start within fifteen minutes of scheduled appointment and will call our client 10 to 15 minutes before the completion time to reduce the amount of time your pet will spend in the crate.

Services included in all grooming packages
All natural shampoo selection Your groomer determines, based on your dog's coat and your input, what is the best shampoo for your dog's health and look. We offer over six types of all natural shampoos including Oatmeal, Hypo-allergenic, Flea, Whitening and others all designed to create a healthy and beautiful dog.

• Pre-brush
• Pads, feet and hygiene area trimmed
• Anal glands are expressed
• Ears and eyes are cleaned
• Nails clipped and smoothed if needed
• Hand dried and brushed - All dogs are fluffed and blow-dried by hand.
• Bow or bandana and treat given with your approval - We love to give your dog a bow and a treat if it is OK with you. (This is one of our free extras!)
• We provide water and potty breaks for dogs staying extended periods
• Post-Groom consultation When you pick up your pet, your groomer will discuss any problems that may need to be brought to your attention such as hot spots, dry skin, fleas etc.

• De-matting - For owners who want to keep a long coat but have pets with tangles. The first 10 minutes are free. Charges apply for additional de-matting.
• Hand Stripping - For dogs with wire coats only. Stripping maintains a proper wire coat, while clipping wire coated dogs makes it soft and ruins the wire texture.
